COVID-19/CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
May 18, 2020- Our office is now reopen for all of our care services- including preventive, routine, urgent and emergency care- as the California Department of Public Health now orders that dental offices can once again provide all care services.
We have incorporated "best practices" recommendations for care in the era of the COVID-19 into our patient care and work flow as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), the California Department of Public Health, the Orange County Health Care Agency, and health researchers. As you enter the office with your cotton mask, you'll see social distancing reflected in our waiting room spacing and the removal of magazines and other reading materials from the waiting room. Before calling you back for care, we will confirm you have no fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other signs or symptoms of COVID-19. Before receiving care, we will have you sanitize your hands, take your temperature, and have you rinse with an oral disinfectant.
Plexiglass barriers have been installed, appropriate personal protective equipment is worn by the staff, and scheduling has been modified- all to ensure safety during care for both patients and staff.
We will continue to closely follow the medical, dental, and regulatory changes affecting COVID-19's impact on clinical care and incorporate those changes to protect both your health and well-being as well as that of our staff.
If you have any questions, dental problems, or Orofacial Pain issues, please contact our office. Your safety, health and well-being are our primary concern.
Be well and be safe.
Wishing you good health and well-being always.
